Comments on: Ah…the early days of Conrail….ex whatever were common on the ex NYC Water Level Route through that fan hot spot of Silver Creek N.Y…..

No surprise when the Can Opener ( CR logo ) odd balls started to show up at Agincourt via the TH&B run throughs

EMD GP35 built 12-1963 serial 28637 constructed as Reading #6505,

 renumbered to CR 3624 and is the middle unit of the CR trio GP38-2 8071 – GP35 3624 – U30B 2887

and while early VIA was interesting…the CR produced a heck of good show it’s first decade !

 [….watch out a U boat is in the area ! ]
