Comments on: Also during 1997, King Street in Uptown Waterloo was undergoing a large-scale construction project and the CN 15:30 Job is viewed now stopped between the buildings at King Street after observing a piece of equipment blocking the right-of-way.
The CN crew eventually got the attention of a few lingering construction workers that were luckily still there and after realizing their error, one worker quickly moved to rectify the situation. Once given the all clear, CN 4134 and 4137 would continue through Waterloo with nine-ex VIA Rail coaches for WSJR as well as their regular cars for customers in Elmira on the Waterloo Spur.

Thanks for all the comments on my dad’s photo. This one was one of his favorites that he took. I can’t recall how long the train was held-up for but I believe it was long enough that we had plenty of time to compose the photos before the equipment was moved.

The 4134 having successfully completed its first attempt, the Limbo operator is racing back to lower it a little more. How low can you go.
Super post Jason. :-)
