Comments on: AMT 1342 pushes EXO 1202 from Mascouche past the Peel Basin. Until these trains were rerouted on CN’s Montreal Sub a bit under a year ago (due to the closure of the Mount Royal tunnel), F59PH’s had never operated through here.

Most Mascouche trains do just that right now – they start and terminate at Ahuntsic Station.

Why would they? This is a very indirect and lengthy route, including crawling through Taschereau Yard.
