<title>Comments on: An entry to the time machine challenge alongside John Freyseng&#8217;s 1963 image. With clearance through a foreman&#8217;s limits just to the east at mile 289, VIA 62 and 52, running joint to Brockville, fly through Bowmanville, passing the former site of CN&#8217;s station. Constructed by the GTR circa 1856, Bowmanville&#8217;s station was damaged in a January 1968 derailment, but repaired for another another decade of service into 1979. Demolition would follow in 1981. A small yard sat to the north of the station here, plus the Bowmanville Town Spur, running north to the Goodyear plant.</title>
