<title>Comments on: An excellent leader: CN RoadRailer #145 rolls through downtown Brampton in the evening, past the VIA/GO station, with CN SD40u 6013 in charge of tonight&#8217;s long train of Triple Crown trailers originating at MacMillan Yard. 6013 was originally built as SD40 5059 in 1968, and rebuilt to Dash-3 standards by AMF Technotransport in 1995 (one of 29 units upgraded, 6000-6028).
This clear wide-open shot wasn&#8217;t possible before (and isn&#8217;t now) as most of the foreground was previously overgrown with heavy brush, bordered by a chain link fence. It was all bulldozed clear for construction of a second (south) Brampton Station platform on this side of the tracks. Half of Railroad Street, that we&#8217;re standing on, had also been closed off to traffic for the work. Today, new platform shelters and brush block this shot once more.</title>
