Comments on: An iconic structure that’s been trackside for decades is now gone: what I suspect is a conveyor structure between two Lafarge Cement plants (formerly Canada Cement) has been removed. It was a Great (Jason Noe) Prop (Mooney) over the years. I’ve been here a few times, shared this a couple years ago. Oh well, too bad, so marches father time. Get your shots!
I chased this T69 once from Puslinch to basically here, and didn’t think I’d beat it… they must have stopped in Woodstock, because sometimes this train is a hard one to keep up with!

Thank you - nice to know! from what I recall after trying to figure out what took them so long, I think what they did was set off the cement cars in Woodstock so they didn't take them all to the Junction and back - picking then up again on the way west. Not sure why, but it makes sense from a 'don't take it if you don't need it' point of view.

Yes, it was removed thursday. Two very tall cranes from lafarge property, with a gaggle of CPR officials watching from the right of way. As per a picture shared with me.
