<title>Comments on: An often forgotten part of the local Hagersville History is that the town built itself around the rock quarries that first began being mined in 1888. They were served by the Canada Southern and CN rail lines that passed through the town. Today they are flooded with water and private property. Pictured is CN 402 passing by one of the flooded quarries off of Sandusk Road, the town of Hagersville is visible in the background.</title>
