Comments on: And then there was one. There was originally two CP served customers on what still survives today of the old Owen Sound subdivision. A number of years ago the customer on the east side of the main that received boxcars downsized and later shared space with the customer on the west side of the main that receives covered hoppers. I believe the company was Katoen Natie as I don’t think the name is on the building anymore. It has been weeks since a boxcar has appeared at the north end and the unloading ramps have disappeared. Typically local H24 once a week will make the just over a mile trip to beyond highway 401 to service this last industry, passing a pair of long severed spurs along the way. This dreary day fresh looking GP38-2 3024 along with 3134 are seen working the service tracks at the last customer.

One of the few things that hasn't changed much over the years, the switch broom, chisel at one end, broom at the other. If it were here in Alberta at the moment, it would be frozen in place, wishing it was being kept in the cab. :-)
Nice clean 38 for this photo.
