Comments on: Another mixed power CN train from those power short entertaining days not so long past……I am following #393 West, and this image I rather liked…….NS 9811, HLCX 5994 and NS (CR) 8444 take Copetown hill rather handily with a shorter train than I was used to. Thats the Inksetter Rd bridge in background.

Making me cry once again AW..miss my engineer days and those awesome lashups! LOL those were the days before HPT matching and it was rare for a train to stall on Copetown Hill.
Another cool fact it 393 is just moving across an underground aquifer that runs under the track. At one point ages ago there was a small shack right where you see that silver box. There was someone inside it 24/7 and a Rule 42 there as it was an area prone to flooding and track washouts. Now it is monitored electronically and hooked inti the RTC centre. There is still a permanent 30MPH over that spot though.

Great shot! Fondly remember that train that day. I got it at Creditville and at first sight thought it was NS 327.
