Comments on: Another old scene as photographed out of that long gone Canada Crushed Stone conveyor overhang above the CN mainline at mile 4, Dundas. This view is of what I think is the Brantford local out of Hamilton behind CN 4516 and 4565 climbing the grade toward Copetown. That is the Sydenham Rd bridge background, and the old Steetley operation (dolomite)track at right; now long gone and replaced with a new subdivision of upscale homes.

I was unaware of that. Backing up on the Copetown grade. I honestly do not recall them passing below me as I was up in that old conveyor overhang. I do realize that most all photos I have of them, they were running long hood forward though.

Also of interest, both units are backing up. So far as I know, all CN GP-9s were set up for long hood forward, & only when they were rebuilt did that change for some of them.

I never get tired of seeing CN's all-high-hood-geep lashups well after this became a rare event on most other roads. Thanks for posting!
