<title>Comments on: Another trip in the books
VIA 693 has backed into the station at Thompson, MB and the head end crew has collected their belongings and make their way down the platform to the station where they will hand over control of the train to the new team of engineers.
There is still a tremendous amount of snow on the ground for the end of April which has raised concerns about the amount of water that will be produced when it all melts.
This concern became reality a week later when VIA 692 was stranded in Churchill for several days due to washed out sections of track on the HBR mainline.</title>
