<title>Comments on: Another view at Galt showing transition-era railroading: a pair of newer diesels (CP RS18 8744 and a 4020-series FA1) doublehead with P1-class 2-8-2 5147 on a westbound freight, passing the parked cars and baggage cart along the platform in front Galt Station, on a rainy October day in 1959. There were no MU controls between diesel and steam (at least back then), so both had to be run with their own crews operating in unison.
