Comments on: Approximately four years ago, GEXR is observed switching the Kitchener yard with matching LLPX units (2236 and 2210). I do not recall the train symbol but it was likely 580 switching based on the time of day. The snow and cold that season were really starting to set in at this point. A few weeks after this image was taken, was the last time a “true” snowstorm hit the K-W area.

Nice shot Kevin! I miss seeing these two together, im sure they would’ve been a sign of home to pretty much anyone who lived in this area back at the beginning of the decade as it was rare to not have at least one of the LLPX units operating the 580/584 job near the station. .
Now I wonder if 2210 has been repainted to G&W? Last I heard, she joined the South Carolina Central Railroad later on in 2016 so I wonder if they repainted her?
