Comments on: Arnold’s great photo of the now demolished Beamsville Station in 1975 has compelled me to quickly pull this out and post it – Beamsville is where my parents now live and we were at the nearby Grocery Concern to grab a few items to complete my dish for our upcoming family dinner. I knew 422 was close so walked to the station for a photo, and this is what you see now. I highly doubt any of this structure uses the original station but wierder things have happened. Could even be an old express shed clad in aluminum siding typical of what they installed in the late 80′s. and yes I’m basically saying this is the site of the old station, or within dozen(s) of feet of this structure at the least. Since I moved to the area in ’01 I don’t know the history.. please feel free to comment below if you have any memories to share.

Nice shot! From the looks of the picture it looks like you shot it in the summer? That might have been me on the head end
I never saw the original station, but i do remember in the 80′s there was a siding there where i once had to set off a car. The siding of course is long gone along with the double track that used to run from Nelles Rd to Jordan

Nice!!! I think you are standing on the location of the old station. Once all that grocery and other commercial development took place, any evidence of the past was buried. Judging by the old trackage perhaps fruit sheds were on both sides of the line back then.
