Comments on: As much as I wish i’d have shot this some other way, on the other hand, it’s a rather nice scene. In amazing looking shape, UP 9233 with a trailing CSXT SD40-2 round the curve at Paris Junction with the daily NS train to Buffalo, NY. No regrets right? Both of these units are endangered or already retired by now.

Thank you Arnold. I didn't exactly choose this, I seem to recall the train beating my butt to the tracks having just arrived for my usual morning of whatever comes, so I had to compose something on the spot from the wrong side of the tracks.

But.... this did speak to me so I composed it as such. I wouldn't think twice about this now, but back then it is surprising what I chose to compose given my lack of experience.

We could see UP leaders or anything else with this train while it lasted. What is nice about this is the angle you chose.
