Comments on: As the traffic increased on the VIA Chatham Subdivision, I wasn’t too lucky at first in catching some of the rerouted trains due to the derailment in the Sarnia tunnel. I had seen some of the photos posted by other railfans who came to Chatham from afar, just to catch a glimpse of the action. Finally, some luck after a great tip by a fellow rp.ca contributor. Here, CN 367 leads it train past the station with leased 2033 in tow.

The leader is grubby alright, but at least the paint stays on.....unlike some of those ugly SD75I units that still wander around.

Hi all...

@BradKetchen...I believe it is the same units, although can't confirm what CN unit was included with 2033 on the point.

@Stephen C. Host...thank you. Thought there were more reroute photos on rp.ca, but realized they were posted in other Facebook groups.

@Larry Parks - yes, dirty. Almost looks like it traveled off the beaten path a little lol. I actually have a VIA unit that is absolutely covered in grime. May try and post that here sometime. Looks like it went off-roading, and through a large pool of mud. LOL :)

That is a dirty 2837. It looks like it has been on a back road re-route. :-)

Glad you shared some reroute photos. I was expecting a few more on here and it was sparse!
