Comments on: At mile 17.09 of the former Lakefield subdivision the swing bridge still stands next to the Trent/Severn waterway despite not being in operation in what must be at least 50+ years. I suspect that this line was abandoned sometime around 1960, or whenever Trent University built their campus (just off to the left of this picture).
