Thanks for the information on the equipment Ron. Every time I see a bent chimney on the roof of a CP caboose going forward I'm going to wonder if it was the tunnel that did it now. Lol.

Sometime between my starting on CP in 1973 and when this was taken, the plow cupola front windows were replaced. The originals were non safety glass believe it or not. Also replaced was the steam type headlight changed out for a pair of sealed beam headlights. With regard to the van, that crooked heater chimney might have been a victim of icicles hanging from the ceiling on the Windsor/Detroit tunnel. When we first started going through to Detroit, we found out that the profile of the locomotives were a bit smaller than the profile of the van's chimneys. More than one crew had the daylights scared out of them when the loud bang from contacting the chimney took place. Not all of the chimneys were bent by such events, but some were, and a few even broke off at the roof.

Yes, you are right Steve. It does look pretty good.

CP 8222 behind the plow might have been the power for the local to Tillsonburg or St. Marys as the St. Mary's Subdivision was still in place then.
