<title>Comments on: Ayr, ON. May 17, 2023. While waiting for CP 137-17 to show up, I shot train 1 of 2 &#8211; the Hagey job led by CP 3040 and CP 7307. Train 2 of 2 (137) was closely behind. I could hear the horn as the train was approaching Ayr. Shortly after, they went into emergency. The fact that the train derailed still didn&#8217;t cross my mind. However, radio conversation on the situation soon revealed the severity of the situation. Part of the mid-section of the train derailed at mile 65 between Cedar Creek Rd. and Alps Rd. First time for me experiencing a derailment in real-time while railfanning. Expect the unexpected in railroading.</title>
