Comments on: Back in 1995 when we were inundated SD40s and SD40-2s on the CP, I remember seeing this train coming and thought “meh!!” But the leader had a fresh coat of paint!! So at least that was worth grabbing a shot of. I was probably wandering around by the High Level bridge and spotted the train coming thru Bayview; as it used to run Toronto-Buffalo along the CN Oakville sub, crossing to CP at Hamilton Jct. Looking back, I am glad I scurried over the hillside for this shot. Never would I have imagined how grubby and pathetic looking the paint jobs on most of today’s CP leaders would look. :o) Power is CP 5620, 5640 and 5602.

Nice Arnold! I have shots of the dual flag SD40-2s, but not this clean! And you're right about CP power lately; it's amazing what we take for granted. I really miss those SD40-2s, and the sound they make is awesome.
