Comments on: Back in October 2007, GEXR ran an extra from the EMD plant in London carrying new units for the UK. There were a few of these extras in 2007 which I managed to shoot. Power was RLK 4096-LLPX 22xx (2210 or 2236). Although the runs on GEXR seemed to be documented well, I have not seen many shots of these export units on CN trains east of Toronto, since their destination was ultimately Halifax for shipment across the Atlantic, or at least I presumed.

Hi Kevin, actually these units went to Germany and France. With these air conditioning units on the rooftop perhaps there could arise clearence profile issues on the island as well. Thank you for this picture of some of our locos at theirs birthplace.
