Comments on: Back in the 1990′s Wolverton was always a great place to spend some time as it was near the middle of the OCS section of the Galt Subdivision, it was usually a popular spot for train meets as well as being one of the longer sidings on the line. It was literally just a long siding in the middle of farm fields as the yard was still a decade away from being built. Plus, Trussler Road was less busy with traffic compared to now, so one could have a fairly relaxing wait between trains. Here, CP 8220 and 5403 are on an eastbound in the siding at the east switch meeting a fast moving westbound with 5583 and 4240 during a Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for the comment Kevin. Yes, the field there always provided some neat angles of the trains stopped for meets.
