Comments on: Back in the late 1980s the mood of despondency set in among many of the trackside fans as the new F40s began to show up on VIA, knocking off the old and tired fan favourite cab units. This was at the end of the order, brand new VIA 6454 and 6453 tacked on to the front of the morning VIA #70. This train blew by me so fast I did not catch the number of the third unit. Hard to believe this was more than 30 years ago already.

I believe the bridge was at Mile 11.71 Dundas Sub., it was replaced with a Farm Crossing and is equipped with Warning Devices consisting of "Pedestrian Signals" which are normally illuminated and extinguish on the approach of a train. There is a sign on each signal mast which reads "CROSS CN TRACKS ONLY WHEN BOTH SIGNALS ARE ILLUMINATED"
