Comments on: Back on Canadian soil. Rapido Trains recently acquired the ex-VIA, ex-CN “E” series sleeping car, Edmundston. It was built in 1954 for CN as #1115, one of 52 cars in the E series. These cars were named after cities and towns in Canada with names beginning with E, and they each had four sections, eight duplex roomettes, and four double bedrooms.
