Comments on: Battlefield: While suburban Stratford residents enjoy a morning Family Day coffee, the Goderich-Exeter Railway crew are busy battling mother nature. Accelerating out of town limits, a dark and ominous looking cloud of snow is cast aside into adjacent farmers fields. At centre: GEXR’s black, hardened, 1938 built snow tank, 55413 – the war room for the winter battle. A few smooth drifts of snow have formed within the right of way, in contrast to the jagged chunks cast aside, clear evidence of prior battles with 55413. Sorry about your luck, mother nature, but you lost, and Spring is just around the corner.

Thank you. I'd also note the white smoke above the plow and to the left is from the engines accelerating - it sure sounded good.
