<title>Comments on: BBD LRC-2 #6914 is seen westbound rounding the curve to where old Dundas station was located. Off to the left is wrecked CN GP9 4513, involved in a collision down by mile 2 a few days prior. On the right on the background siding are rolling stock also involved in the incident.
This scene is of interest since the track shown is now all gone. The foreground track was part of a small yard behind the station and up the grade is the track to the Canada Crushed Stone facility. Out of sight on the right near the rolling stock a track went off down to the lower level where the Steetley (dolomite) plant was located. This track was taken up two years later.
Needless to say, the LRC is history as well. A few have been saved but the units were not reliable, and their life on VIA did not exceed 20 years.</title>
