BCOL 4653 is the first BC Rail locomotive this year to roam the Mont-Joli subdivision, they are far less common since the Dash 8 locomotives were retired… Trailing mid-consist was a set of about a dozen former BC Rail woodchip gondolas recently acquired by the Gaspésie Railway. They were the first loads of woodchips to come through in about a year, although they weren’t headed for Rivière-du-Loup this time… I am not sure who is the new customer that recieves these loads. New traffic sure is welcome!
