It is to my understanding that so far only on BCOL unit has been painted into CN paint which was a C40-8M I saw it come through Capreol and Sudbury, where I am currently living, last year but haven't seen it since. I get a little constricted in the chest when I see one of my BCOL units come by it reminds me of home. I grew up in Squamish and my dad worked in the shops there so I love seeing a little bit of home once in a while.

On this day, there were 4 BCOL leaders through Jasper. Q119 earlier in the day had the two C44-9Ws that have been together for about a month (4651-4646). Coincidentally, they just returned eastward together on train Q106. Photo to come.

And probably the only two to be running in BC now too. I seem to see more and more of ex BCR units out of province now with a few out East and down south.
