Comments on: Beautiful downtown Oba, ON Another view of the CN Oba, ON station from early July 1976. The platform and surrounding grounds are littered with common place items (at the time) seen at stations throughout the north. 45-gallon drums of gasoline, propane tanks and oil (kerosene) drums for the station agent and work crews in the yard. A freshly painted baggage cart rests in front of the station waiting on its next load of arriving or departing cargo.
