<title>Comments on: Between 1972 and 1995 (with a suspension between April 1987 and July 1989), Amtrak operated an overnight train between Montreal and Washington . Here we see one of the first runs of the restored southbound &#8220;Montrealer&#8221;, making its suburban St. Lambert stop. Train No. 624 (its number on CN lines) is operating with a then-ubiquitous F40PH and eight cars&#8211;what appear to be a baggage car, two sleepers, meal/lounge service, and four Amfleet coaches. The train would be cut back to St-Albans, Vermont and changed to a daytime schedule in April 1995.</title>
