There were two morning schedules, 903 &amp; 937 &amp; the dispatcher may have run this job on one of those. London bound van hops from Toronto yard in that era were either an acid train or the &quot;OOD&quot;. Both of those were lifted at Lambton Yard. David, when it comes to a &quot;disappointing sight at the time&quot;, I feel the same way now about my railway career back then. In this era of DPUs, &amp; a gazillion GE locos..What I&#039;d give to go back to the days of vans,van hops, snowplows et al,  if only for a day.</description>
