<title>Comments on: Bloor GO Station is a very interesting spot, as in current times it is quite a mix between modern architecture and very old. The station itself along with the entire Weston Sub finished receiving a major upgrade in 2015, making it one of the more modern aspects of the area. On the contrary, there are many old buildings and other things serving as a reminder of how industrial The Junction area used to be. A couple of examples are seen here in this photo with some old buildings and a smokestack on the left hand side, as well as the Wallace Avenue bridge right behind the signals, which was built in 1908 originally.
Here at Bloor on a nice sunny morning, GO F59PH #559 leads the last of the morning&#8217;s Milton line trains toward the USRC on the Galt Sub. The F59s only date back to the beginning of the 90&#8242;s, which is really not that old when you compare it to a couple other things in this photo, but as far as trains go, 30 years and counting is a pretty long life, especially for a commuter railroad.</title>
