That was an experimental scheme on 5001 - only a small number of units had the 5&quot; stripes and a small multimark. If you could see the rear of the unit, the 5&quot; black and white stripes would only go as high on the long hood end as that multimark - above that would be plain Action Red.

CP retained the large multimark for a while when they switched to the 8&quot; stripes (as seen on 5000), and when they did start using a small multimark again, the 8&quot; black-and-white stripes still extended the full height of the end of the long hood.</description>
