According to the town of Deux-Montagnes (who I believe owns the locomotive), it will be restored by next summer; welcome news given how badly this veteran has deteriorated. CN 6710 was built by General Electric and delivered to the Canadian Northern as CNoR 600 in 1919. It was used on the electrified Deux-Montagnes line until being retired in 1995.
