Comments on: Brandt R4 Railcar Mover CN 175529 with 5 empty ballast hopper cars is heading toward the Oakville Sub.
The R4 has a retractable front coupler, 50000 lb Tractive Effort, rail speeds up to 40 MPH forward and 25 MPH in reverse, and highway speed up to 65 MPH. There is a “Freightliner” badge at the top of the radiator intake.
The train is running on the Cowpath side of the Bayview Junction wye after dumping ballast along the Dundas Sub.

It's reasonable for CN to set a 25 MPH speed limit on rail (equal forward and reverse).
The capabilities I mentioned in the caption are as described on the manufacturer's web page: https://www.brandt.ca/Divisions/Road-Rail/Products/Power-Unit/R4-Railcar-Mover

The Brant truck is only allowed to do 25 mph when operating as a track unit.
