Comments on: Built back in 1957, a couple of MLW S-3 switchers are still at work in Sudbury in 1981 moving around a couple of VIA coaches. Unfortunately it was a real dull afternoon when this image of CP 6594 and 6576 was captured. I have forgotten just what this move was all about, and even forget the exact location in downtown Sudbury. Perhaps one of this group familiar with Northern Operations can help out?

The brown structure at right would be the back of the CP roundhouse.

The whitish structure(s) along the tracks at left was a lumber yard, and now the site of the aforementioned Independent grocery store.
