Comments on: Canadian Pacific Railway G1-class 4-6-2 2238 and H1a-class “Hudson” 4-6-4 2804 wait in front of CP’s West Toronto Station for clearance up the MacTier Sub in 1958. Assist engine 2238 (doubleheaded on the front end of the train) will come off at Bolton. The procedure here is the train has backed out of Lambton Yard on the Galt Sub to the station, and will now use the connecting track to cross the diamonds with the CP North Toronto and CN Brampton (Weston) Subs to proceed north up the MacTier Sub.
