Prior to the CPR&#8217;s Budd built equipment,  CPR  #2220 to #2298  were the core of the passenger fleet.  


CPR 2220-2234 built 1947-48 by National Steel Car, Hamilton, fitted out by CP&#8217;s Angus Shops


CPR 2235-2298 built 1949-50 by Canadian Car &amp; Foundry, Montreal.


CPR 2200&#8242;s riding experiences on ONR &amp; ACR; with those unique CPR trucks, the ride was superior to any of the CPR Budd built equipment


The Ontario Northland Polar Bear Express regular 1971 consists included leased CPR 2200 series coaches.


The Algoma Central Agawa Canyon excursion train 1970&#8242;s consists included leased CPR 2200 series coaches
