		<description>I like the styling of these units &amp; this photo displays the classic C&amp;O colour scheme. We can see an optional version on the nose of the second unit. 

My most lasting memory of these units unfortunately, was of their interiors. They were dirty, smelly &amp; in really rough shape. 
If you had one of these units in the lead, the headlights weren&#039;t easy to wipe off so they were often covered with grime and that reduced their ability to light the rails ahead. I recall one trip, we had one of the bulbs in the headlight fail, and it almost seemed that we had no light at all. We somehow found our way home to Quebec Street anyway. 
When a bulb failed enroute it wasn&#039;t usually changed out  by crews, although I remember doing a couple over the years. 
Thanks for this photo, it took me back a few decades.</description>
