<title>Comments on: CN’s Bala subdivision is one of those lines I just never got much of a chance to railfan. It was always far enough to not justify the trip, especially dealing with Toronto traffic. An invitation to one of my sons friends cottage in Lagoon City for the day timed itself well with catching a train of two around Brechin. After meeting VIA 1 at Smail, CN 8871 has made it as far south as Brechin where it will meet CN 101 and perform a crew change.</title>
