Barring the time lost to troubleshooting the initial problems with the units and then getting this one put on, I think it would make up or at least keep it from losing any more time. There’s so much time in this current schedule now. Having a freight unit leading all the way from Vancouver wouldn’t hurt its on-time performance. Leave that up to CN or other bad decision making.
