Comments on: CN 394 is seen ducking under the signals at Paris Junction as they head back to their train on a bitter February morning. Foreign Power made its first appearance on CN in 2017 in the form of BNSF 7806 and BNSF 9238 trailing the CN 2624. Their stopping at Paris to work the North Service track allowed me to get a couple shots of the train this morning before my lectures began!

Foreign Power in Ontario hasn’t left us – CP has a number of foreign units every single day this winter – and often leading – as it usually has been the last few winters. But some people don’t like CP!

Rob: Joe is just catching up to us, since he missed the glorious FPON era. Unfortunately, taking 5 shots of the same train doesn’t really count, but let’s give him an A for effort.

This is a nice shot Joe, great location for this consist.

Foreign power WILL be more common now, as a NS GEVO is trailing 2nd on 398, and a “4065″ is leading a train, most likely bnsf 4095

@TIM..true, but Joseph is correct, there has been very little foreign power coming in on CN in southwestern Ontario. It used to be an everyday occurrence.
