Comments on: CN 433-21 is a brand new Plasser MPMV (Multi-Purpose Maintenance Vehicle), or Crew Crane Transporter (CCT), and is being mainline tested near Charny, Quebec back in December 1988. This machine concept was introduced when CN accelerated the downsizing/consolidation of section forces and utilized multi-function machines to offset the reduction in manpower.
