Comments on: CN 4713 is arguably the best looking locomotive still in “zebra stripes” remaining on the active roster. It was oddly repainted in the old scheme in 2007, long after the mid-nineties CN North America paint scheme, and the switch back to the CN “noodle” scheme. 4713 has been assigned to 580 for the past couple of weeks, and the unit was nicely posed in the yard today while the crew took a lunch break.

That's funny. We just went out to Burlington Mall to see Santa. Coming back up the escarpment on the 403 I could see 148 going down Dundas Hill. I figured the last unit in the consist was a SD60F or Dash 8-40CM!

There are still a few units out there with zebra stripes that are in good shape, but this is one of the best examples. I remember when these units were out on the "road" in charge of mainline freights!
