Comments on: CN 4774 leads train 580 between the houses on Port Street in Brantford Ontario on their way to service Ingenia Polymers. CN’s time on this line was about a year away from abandonment at this point. Ingenia would step in and purchase the line and then contract the SOR to run it until 2018 when CN took back the Hagersville Sub and SOR’s running rights on the Dundas were removed. Today Ingenia uses Allied Rail Services to move cars from the CN interchange to the plant, they utilized a track mobile for this move.

Neat angle Joe. I believe this photo here was also on the same day and same Burford spur movement where the old TH&B station on Market st saw its very last ever train go by and reason for that one special move was due to the regular run-around track CN used by Ingenia being temporarily out of service for the week forcing 580 to then find the next nearest location to run-around which ended up being the old passing track right by the old Market st station http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=13605

I can imagine kids in the neighbourhood had/having fun putting things on the tracks to be flattened. :-)
