Comments on: CN 580 crosses Greenwich Street on the way to Ingenia with three cars. It sounds like CN is done serving the Burford Spur on Decemeber 31, with Ingenia purchasing the line and contracting to Southern Ontario Railway to continue service in the new year. A representative from Transport Canada was along for the ride today, I don’t know if its related to the change in service provider or not. Also noteworthy is the building with the red roof in the background, which is Harold & Goetz TIM-BR Mart. Many years ago they had their own siding off the original alignment of the Burford Subdivision and received building materials by rail.

Hey Rob

When/where did you hear about the SOR taking over ingenia operations? As someone who works at the SOR I have only heard that we will be servicing them but nothing about when the change will happen or how it will effect our current operations. Any info would be nice. Thanks!

Very nice. According to Niagara Rails SOR serviced this line at a time. It would be even better if they worked the spur to SC Johnson past the old TH&B station.
