Comments on: CN 7395 leads a transfer through St. Henri with a mixture of VIA equipment and two CN box cars. The VIA equipment includes RDCs, Steam Generators and baggage cars, sporting CN, CP and VIA schemes.

I’d hazard a guess this is a “hospital train” or train of retired equipment to be disposed of. The four RDC4′s (two red and white ex-CP , the VIA and CN-painted ones) were sold to Diesel Cummins by this time, and later ended up at Les Cedres QC. The CN boxcars could be idlers.

I’d be interested in seeing a list of what’s in this lashup.

Wow, just phenomenal. Unfortunately this angle is no more as of a month ago with the level crossing closed and CN’s track moving a bit north sometime in the future.
