<title>Comments on: CN 8007 (SD70M-2) leads GECX 9520 (Dash 8-40CW, ex-UP 9520) at Oakville Sub MP 35.5 on a sunny autumn morning. They are powering eastbound intermodal train 148 up the grade from CN Bayview and CN Snake (signals in the distance).
&#8220;007&#8243; has lost its front CN logo, the cabside zeros are undersize, while the 7 is imperfectly painted &#8211; looks like a partial repaint of the orange-red on the cab.
GECX 9520 has a lot of black over-paint on the front &#8211; probably to cover a UP wings and shield emblem, or maybe it&#8217;s a November moustache.
Has anyone seen a GECX ex-UP unit which has/had the big US flag on the side? I wonder if there is any issue with over-painting that.</title>
