Well Alex, if you railfan in the area often you are bound to see a 3000 class ET44AC unit as they are usually on trains to the US and return.

Very cool! It seems you've had quite a wide variety of power. I was hoping there would be tier 4s on your train as well.

Well its more about liability, thats why they are not as fan friendly as the old days.
Haha..well I have been around to have the high nose GP9's and RS18's for power.
Then of course GP40-2W, M420W, HR616, M630/636's for my power. Now its SD70's and AC's.
I am not a fan of standard cabs or SD60F's to operate these days. I have been spoiled, but love to photograph them too :-)

Yeah np! Yes very true you never know. If only it were those days. Unfortunately we'd both get in trouble. How about a nice standard cab or SD60F for you comfort;)

Was it true you met 435 at Tansley?

Well thanks for taking the pictures. Great to see a new generation of railfans out there. I am one too and I always keep my camera handy at work to take pics of anything interesting. With railraoding, you never know whats coming down the track.
In the good old days, I would have invited you and your friends to come look in the cab, but sadly its hard to do that anymore.
I will keep and eye out for you again...lol
I'll try to have something more interesting on the point too :-)
