CN 89 (1st) was built by Grand Trunk Pointe St. Charles shops in 1913 and named Ottawa. It became CN 97 in 1924, then CN 98, CN 92, & finally CN 89, assigned to the VP of CN's Atlantic Region. It was modernized in 1960 and sold for scrap in 1972. Our grandfather's Rule Instruction Car CN 15019 was often parked on those same storage tracks in Capreol.
